Norma from the MET this Saturday 7. 10. 2017

We begin this season's live broadcasts from the Metropolitan Opera in New York on Saturday 7 October from 6.45pm at the Reduta Theatre. Enjoy the greatest opera stars up close and personal.

The soprano Sondra Radvanovsky will perform for the Metropolitan Opera in Bellini's bel-canto tragedy. She already successfully portrayed this role at the MET in 2013, as well as with the San Francisco Opera, the Bavarian State Opera and the Gran Teatre del Liceu, and she is one of the best contemporary interpreters of this iconic role. Norma's priestess, Adalgisa, will be sung by Joyce DiDonato, Pollione will be performed by Joseph Calleja and   Matthew Rose will play Oroveso. This new production is directed by Sir David McVicar and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra will be conducted by Carlo Rizzi.
