The highlight of the International Dance Day celebrations on 29 April at the NdB will be a gala evening of the NdB Ballet with international participation.
The stars of the Royal Ballet in London, Fumi Kaneko and Vadim Muntagirov, who will dance a classic pas de deux from the ballet Corsair, will be the special highlights of the gala. Other stars will include Romanian National Opera Ballet soloists Rin Okuno and Robert Enache performing a pas de deux from Swan Lake and Cristina Dijmaru and Bogdan Canila performing Diana and Actaeon. The pas de deux from the ballet Don Quixote will be danced by the excellent Michal Krčmář, who is the first soloist of the Finnish National Ballet, together with Yolanda Correa from the State Ballet in Berlin. And finally, the pas des deux from the ballet The Flames of Paris will be presented by Hibiki Tsukamuto with Erina Tanaka. Of course, our wonderful dancers will also be present, with the soloists and chorus of the NdB Ballet and members of the NdB Junior 2 as the host company.
