Dance for Life
Charity Ballet Gala Evening
Janáček Theatre will become a place of extraordinary encounter between art and solidarity this November. The fourth edition of the ballet gala evening will bring together leading soloists from European stages with a single purpose — to help oncology patients.
Gala Dancing for Life, a joint project of the Ballet of the National Theatre Brno and the Masaryk Oncology Institute, has over four years built a reputation as one of the most prestigious charity events on the Czech dance scene.
World-class stars take to the stage: soloists from leading European companies alongside talented local performers. The programme will satisfy even the most discerning audiences — the gala offers a journey from classical gems such as Giselle, Swan Lake and Don Quixote through neoclassical works to contemporary choreographies by internationally acclaimed creators.
A total of over 2.3 million crowns raised across three editions is direct proof that cultural events can have a profound social impact. All funds are directed specifically towards tangible support for patients of the Masaryk Oncology Institute.
Come and support the fourth edition of the Dancing for Life gala. With your ticket, you will contribute to the fight against a disease that can touch any one of us.
One night only — 20 November 2026 at Janáček Theatre
