Daria Klimentová

Guest Lector and Ballet Master of the Ballet NdB

Daria Klimentová is a Czech itnernational ballet star, dance tutor and a photographer.

After graduating from Prague Dance Conservatoire she joined the National Theatre Prague as a soloist for three years. Her international Prima Ballerina career started in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa, from 1993 she danced with the Scottish National Ballet in Glasgow.

She accepted the offer to dance for the English National Ballet in London, where she was at the top of her career and her dance interpretations earned her the title of a renowned international star. In 2014 she stopped dancing and began teaching classical ballet at the Royal Ballet School (part of Royal Opera House) in London.

To name only a few of the lead roles she portrayed during the years: Odette – Odile in Swan Lake, Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Kitri in Don Quixote, Raymonda in Raymonda, Sylvia in Sylvia, Marguerite in Lady of the Cammelias, Anna Karenina and many more. 

She was a guest dancer at Ballet NdB in Swan Lake (1996), La Bayadére (2005) and in 2005 Ballet Gala.
