Robert Hyland was born in Vienna, Austria. He trained at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera from 2010 – 2019. In 2019 he became a member of Ballet NdB. In 2021 he was promoted to Soloist of Ballet NdB.
He took part in several international galas and won prizes at international ballet competitions. Amongst them the Karl Musil Prize.
His Repertoire in Ballet NdB include Siegfried in Swan Lake, Solor in la Bayadere, Armand in Lady of the Camellias,
Romeo and Paris in Romeo and Juliet, Cavalier in The Nutcracker and Young Beethoven in Beethoven.
