Tereza Kyzlinková
Soprano, Tereza Merklová Kyzlinková, studied solo singing at the Brno Conservatory and then at the Academy of Ancient Music at the Faculty of Philosophy, Masaryk University in Brno. Since 2000 she has been engaged as a soloist in opera houses such as the Vienna Chamber Opera, National Theatre of Prague, Slovak National Theatre, Teatro del la Maestranza in Seville, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Estates Theatre in Prague, Prague State Opera and the Moravian Theatre Olomouc. In 2002 she performed at the prestigious International Melk Baroque Festival.
Since the 2006/2007 season she has been a soloist of the Janáček Opera of the National Theatre Brno where she has portrayed the roles of Xenia (Boris Godunov), Anne Frank (The Diary of Anne Frank), Agafya (The Marriage), Vixen (The Cunning Little Vixen), Aljeja (From the House of the Dead), Félicie (Beauty and the Beast), Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro) and Málinka/Etherea (The Excursions of Mr. Brouček to the Moon). She has also collaborated on recordings of baroque and contemporary vocal music for Český rozhlas (Czech Radio), Supraphon, Radio France and ORF (Austrian Radio).
