The successful performance, which caused a wave of enthusiasm among the audience and critics and won the Musical Theater of the Year 2022 Divadelní noviny Award, returns to the Janáček Theater in November. Directed by David Radok, one of the best Czech directors, they managed to create a production about the fisherman Peter Grimes, who is condemned because of his difference by the entire village for a crime he did not commit. The power of prejudice and the sea meets the stormy power of perfect choirs in this production. The opera, beautiful and cruel as the elements of the sea, returns for only 4 performances.
