On 4 September 2025, the piazzetta in front of the Janáček Theatre will come alive with an open-air concert by Janáček Opera NdB.

Enjoy an evening with the soloists, choir, and orchestra of Janáček Opera NdB under the baton of chief conductor Robert Kružík together with Ondrej Olos, Jakub Klecker, and Dominik Pernica.
The programme will be enriched by dancers of the NdB Ballet2 and actors of NdB Drama, who will take on the role of hosts.

This year, the piazzetta opens already in the afternoon with a family-friendly programme, giving visitors the chance to explore the ensembles of NdB and discover the many professions behind the theatre.

15:00 – 17:30 Start the season in the role of an NdB member – fun activity stations on the piazzetta for the whole family.
18:00 – 20:00 Concert conducted by four conductors of Janáček Opera.
