Architect Fellner looks exactly like his colleague Helmer, except for his moustache. And architect Helmer looks exactly like his colleague Fellner, except for his beard. This could be put to good use!

The studio of the famous architectural duo Fellner & Helmer hides a number of surprises. Not only does it produce designs for almost eighty magnificent theatre buildings from Zurich to Odessa, but the architects also often receive female visitors. However, the women and girls have no idea that even if they have a first appointment with Fellner, for example, they will often spend the evening with Helmer. Fellner and Helmer have a sophisticated plan to seduce all the beautiful women in Vienna: the woman Helmer meets first goes on a date with Fellner the next day instead of him, and vice versa. The lady doesn’t notice the difference. All it takes is one stick-on moustache and one stick-on beard.

But what if Helmer is tired after years of this practice and wants to settle down? Or was it Fellner? And would he want to settle down like Helmer, or rather like Fellner? Could an unexpected female visitor from Bohemia change his decision? And when did the architects who designed the Mahen Theatre have time to draw, with all their romantic adventures? In this new Czech comedy of mistaken identity, written especially for the NdB Drama Company, nothing is as it seems at first glance.
