The story of Clara, which takes place on Christmas Eve, transports us from a joyous Christmas celebration into the magical world of Clara’s dreams. This version by a Canadian choreographer, Fernand Nault, was created in 1964 and since then Les Grands Ballets Canadiens has brought it to life every holiday season in Montreal. This production, with Tchaikovsky’s enchanting music, magnificent sets and lavish costumes has been entertaining children for the past 50 years. Walk with us into this magical world. Let yourself be carried away on a sleigh to the Land of Snow. Dance among the Snowflakes. Be welcomed by the Candy Man in the Kingdom of Sweets. Enjoy meeting more than a hundred different characters performed by soloists and members of the Ballet NdB, students from the Dance Conservatory in Brno and the I. V.
